A Little About Me……
I believe it’s important for you to know a little about me if you’re placing your trust in my guidance. I hold a 4-year degree in Health Science from the Australian College of Natural Medicine, and my practice focuses on science-backed principles, as well as traditional wisdom and nutritional medicine—utilising food as medicine, evidence-based herbal preparations, nutritional supplements, and practical diet and lifestyle strategies.
I grew up on a farm in South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains, in a family of seven. My childhood was sheltered, joyful, and full of mud and furry friends. Life on the farm revolved around relationships, faith, and home-grown food: pasture-raised beef and lamb, fresh vegetables from our patch, raw milk from a neighbour, and eggs from the youngest brother’s enterprise. Sundays were family walks among the cattle, and I remember stroking my father's Brahman, breathing in their warm, snorting presence. Those experiences shaped my understanding of food, nature, and the vital connection between lifestyle and wellbeing.
Today, I share these values with my New Zealand-born husband and our three Aussie children. While we don’t get back to the farm often enough to visit my three brothers, we cherish our visits—reconnecting with family, now stroking my eldest brother’s Brahman - a 5th generation stockman, immersing ourselves in the mountains’ beauty, and celebrating life’s simple joys and complexities.
Here in Australia, I am grateful for a life filled with family, friendships, and the opportunity to work with world-class natural medicines. My passion is helping people find a better way to health—whether it’s never been modelled or taught how to care for yourself through diet and lifestyle, or you know the basics but need support and motivation. As a mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend, I understand life’s challenges and would love to help guide you back to feeling strong, healthy, and empowered.
